Top LPL Superstar Sets Unrealistic Goal, Aiming to Surpass Faker
The 2024 season can be described as full of regrets for Bilibili Gaming. This team dominated the LPL but left empty-handed on the international stage. Notably, they reached the final in both tournaments (MSI and Worlds). Therefore, it’s completely understandable for BLG players to express their determination for the upcoming year.

One of the players showing the greatest determination is Bin. He stated, “The BLG team this year will be different from last year. We will win championships in all three world tournaments (Riot’s new tournament, MSI, and Worlds). We will prove that BLG is the strongest team in the world.”

If Bin can actually win three international championships in the same year with BLG, he would surpass Faker’s achievements. In the past, during Faker’s most glorious period with SKT T1, they only secured two international championships in one year (2016).

LPL Fans Throw Cold Water on Bin’s Ambition
In reality, Bin’s ambition is not entirely impossible but will be extremely challenging. Despite T1 undergoing personnel changes, they remain a formidable team, especially when entering the Worlds arena. In the last two Worlds, BLG was swept by T1 in both BO3 and BO5 matches.
Some fans even bluntly stated, “If Bin cannot improve his limited champion pool and only performs well on top lane champions, BLG will remain as they have been in previous years.”

Besides T1, they also have to face teams like TES, WBG, IG, JDG in the domestic league and Gen.G, HLE on the international stage. These are all formidable teams. Notably, Gen.G defeated BLG in the MSI 2024 finals to claim the championship. The LCK representatives have also made quality additions, most notably AD Carry Ruler after the recent transfer window.

However, having goals is essential for motivation. Perhaps Bin just wants to uplift his spirits and those of his teammates. The 2025 season will be incredibly difficult, and Bin knows how much effort he needs to put in to bring glory back to the LPL when facing T1 and other LCK competitors.
