The early phase of Season 10 seems quite dull for “main ADC” players as they often have to revolve around picks like Aphelios, Miss Fortune, and Senna. Patch 10.5 doesn’t bring much difference either.
However, this time there are three champions that players can “change things up” in the Solo Q mode while still being able to carry the team and secure important victories.
5. Vayne
Win Rate: 51.10% | Pick Rate: 9.7% | Ban Rate: 4.5%
If there’s any ADC champion capable of solo carrying the team in any meta, it’s none other than Vayne. This Night Hunter has all the necessary tools to win 2vs2 in the bot lane, an incredible outplay potential in almost every 1vs1 matchup, and possesses massive damage in team fights.

With the recent rise of tank champions following buffs to Bami’s Cinder, Vayne’s priority has also increased as her W – Silver Bolts is an extremely effective weapon against tanks. If you see the enemy team composed entirely of beefy champions, don’t hesitate to pick Vayne!
4. Kalista
Win Rate: 51.62% | Pick Rate: 6.5% | Ban Rate: 2.7%
After a long absence from the game, Kalista is making a very impressive and spectacular return. From a champion that few used in the bot lane, Kalista is now receiving quite a high priority, mainly thanks to her ability to secure neutral objectives with E – Rend and her utility in team fights with her ultimate R – Fate’s Call.

If you plan to add Kalista to your ADC champion pool, practicing the use of E to finish off monsters or enemy champions and mastering positioning both in lane and during team fights is crucial to ensure victory conditions.
3. Draven
Win Rate: 51.65% | Pick Rate: 6.1% | Ban Rate: 7.9%
Similar to Vayne, Draven is one of the few bot lane champions capable of 1vs9 and solo carrying the team to victory. His biggest drawback keeping him from the top is his heavy reliance on the player’s skill.

When it comes to early game lane pressure, Draven has almost no rivals thanks to the massive DPS from Q – Spinning Axe and the annoying crowd control effect from E – Stand Aside. Moreover, once he manages to secure a kill, it becomes very difficult to stop him from snowballing with the additional gold from his passive Adoration.
2. Miss Fortune
Win Rate: 51.66% | Pick Rate: 21.8% | Ban Rate: 7.4%
Miss Fortune can be considered the brightest highlight of the early phase of Season 10 – she has maintained her position among the top ADCs throughout 2020 so far. The lane pressure she creates, effective item builds, and her terrifying ultimate in team fights are all significant boosts for any type of team composition.

Playing Miss Fortune isn’t hard, but turning her into a devastating weapon is not an easy task. You need to maintain careful positioning in team fights as well as track the cooldowns of enemy champions to land a precise ultimate R – Bullet Time and tear apart the enemy team.
1. Senna
Win Rate: 54.93% | Pick Rate: 10.4% | Ban Rate: 54.3%
Senna ADC, Senna Support, Senna ADC-Support, we have seen every playstyle of Senna since her official release until now. And now, players have elevated her to a new level with a non-farming ADC playstyle to maximize her soul collection ability, thereby increasing her damage and attack range.

Currently, Senna is set to receive further changes in patch 10.6. However, if you haven’t learned to play this champion yet, it would be wise to wait until next week to see if she remains strong. This seems difficult as we all know, Riot “hates” creative players and will always nerf unconventional playstyles that might become phenomena.
