The first half of VCS Spring 2020 has concluded with the outstanding performances of teams like GAM Esports, Team Secret (formerly Lowkey), and Team Flash. Meanwhile, FTV Esports and V Gaming Adonis have not met expectations with their performances.
To strengthen their rosters for the second half, all teams have made significant additions with familiar yet fresh faces. Let’s take a look at the top 3 names that are most awaited for their return to the VCS, as they have previously showcased their roles exceptionally well in past seasons and left a lasting impression on fans. Will their return help their teams improve their standings this time?
1. GAM Zeros – Top Lane (GAM Esports)
There’s no need to elaborate much on this name, as his return will only make GAM Esports stronger than ever. Let’s review the other positions; Palette, Levi, and Dia1 are all top-tier players in the VCS for their respective roles. In the Top Lane, even without Zeros, Kiaya is an exceptional player and ranks in the top 3. Now, with Zeros back, can anyone stop this “Super Team” from defending GAM Esports’ throne?

2. VGA Zin – Bot Lane (V Gaming Adonis)
A timely addition for GAM Esports in the second half of VCS Summer 2019, he helped the team achieve remarkable victories throughout their journey, eventually claiming the championship and heading straight to the World Championship. For any professional player, competing on the international stage strengthens their mindset significantly, regardless of the outcome. Furthermore, Zin is a decisive player who can call the team very well.

With VGA currently sinking deep in the standings, adding Zin to the Bot Lane will certainly make V Gaming Adonis’s gameplay more solid and fresh. With extensive experience from multiple VCS seasons, he hopes to bring a new breeze to VGA. VGA is a very young and potential team, but losing Y1 has caused them significant headaches with the gap in the Jungle position.
3. DBL Hinn – (Dashing Buffalo Esports)
The younger brother mentored by Optimus from the beginning, Hinn started as a young and promising marksman, consistently ranking at the top of the Vietnamese rank leaderboard. However, with both Artemis and Slayder joining the Sky Gaming Daklak roster before, Hinn had to sacrifice and switch to Support. Yet, when adapting to the new position, Hinn not only performed well but also proved to be a promising Support with excellent control skills and a diverse champion pool. The success of SGD cannot overlook Hinn’s contribution.

However, when SGD was renamed Team Flash, CBL was added to pair up with his close friend Slayder during VCS Summer 2019. The synergy of this duo was highly praised by experts, which led to Hinn not being able to showcase his skills as much anymore. After some time with Team Flash, he decided to leave and find a new home – Dashing Buffalo. This addition is entirely reasonable as the position left by Palette was too large, and H3’s performance has not met fans’ and the team’s expectations, making Hinn’s pairing with Bigkoro a formidable Marksman-Support duo that other teams must watch out for.
Let’s wait and see which returning player leaves the most remarkable impression in VCS Spring 2020!
