Ornn is a champion with one of the most unique skill sets, and that is one reason why he can become a top-tier champion in League of Legends. However, Ornn has had a win rate below average in solo queue during the 2020 season. Therefore, reworking this champion’s skill set is a pressing demand for Riot.

The new passive ability of this champion – Master Craftsman has brought a completely new Ornn: FREE item upgrades for everyone! Specifically, when Ornn reaches level 11, all items he has purchased and will purchase will be converted into upgraded items for free. Additionally, in the next 4 levels, Ornn can upgrade items for his teammates for free. Each teammate can receive one item upgrade at most.

The latest champion to join League of Legends is the Ruined King – “The Unseen King” Viego. One of the skills that players consider the best of Viego is the passive that completely possesses defeated enemies. With this passive, the Unseen King can use items, skills (except for the ultimate), visual characteristics (including skins and basic attacks). YouTuber Eldimarix has uploaded a video demonstrating all of Viego’s passive power, especially when used on special champions like Zac, Yone or notably Ornn.

When Viego defeats Ornn, he will steal this champion’s passive and can forge items for his allies. However, he still cannot use the ability to purchase items outside of the health pool because the duration of Viego’s possession of a body is not long enough.
An even more special point is that the items created by Viego while possessing Ornn will also last forever for his allies. Of course, Viego will also face similar limitations as Ornn (can only upgrade one item for each ally). Therefore, to maximize the power of this passive, players need to time when the opposing Ornn reaches level 12 to activate the passive. After that, Viego’s task is just to wait for Ornn to appear and funnel all resources to take him down.
Additionally, Viego can also use Zac’s revive or summon Azir’s Sun Disk using his passive.
The fact that Viego is still limited from stealing the ultimate ability helps Riot “temporarily” balance this champion, because if he could possess bodies including stealing the ultimate, Viego would be almost invincible in League of Legends, in a sense becoming a premium version of Sylas.
However, many players believe that using R for free once is already enough for Viego to make a significant impact on the game’s outcome.
