As we know, the animated series Arcane, based on stories from League of Legends, has been teased by Riot for a long time and is expected to premiere soon after being delayed for too long due to the impact of Covid-19. The first part of the series will delve into the backgrounds of Jinx and Vi – two champions from two cities: Zaun – the hub of chemical experiments, and Piltover – the birthplace of machines, the result of steam technology.
Recently, Riot has released new trailer clips, and two creators from Riot, Christian Linke and Alex Yee, also confirmed the sibling relationship between Jinx and Vi, despite the fact that they are currently on opposing sides, with Jinx being a rebellious criminal and Vi being a Piltover Enforcer.
The creators at Riot also confirmed that the first part of the series will explore more than the previously released backstories of Jinx and Vi, particularly the very special sisterly relationship between these two champions, who were once siblings but are now enemies. The images in the trailer show that the film will depict their lives from childhood, with Vi also being an outlaw in Zaun, instilling fear in other gangs.
Through the new clips and images released by Riot, fans can fully trust that this movie will be “top-notch” to live up to the title of “the world’s leading entertainment company” that the League of Legends community has bestowed upon this game company.
