Currently, the Match History feature in League of Legends only provides gamers with basic information such as KDA stats, damage dealt/taken, or vision score… This isn’t very appealing to players as they can already get some of that information during gameplay. Thus, the Match History feature has gradually been forgotten by League of Legends players.

However, everything will change in the upcoming version as Riot Games adds a lot of interesting statistics to the Match History feature. According to a member of the League of Legends technical team – RiotTuxedo, the “new” Match History will provide players with information such as damage dealt from abilities, the number of objectives stolen… Even the stats of characters with evolution abilities like Kayn and Kayle will be displayed in this “new” Match History.

RiotTuxedo: “I am very excited to introduce you to the next version of the Match History feature in League of Legends. It will include a series of interesting stats such as:
Calculating and comparing stats of players in the same position.
Number of skill uses.
Number of times you stole major objectives from opponents.
Amount of tower shields obtained.
Stats of characters with evolution capabilities (like Kayn, for example)”.
A player asked: “Maybe we’ll have the damage dealt displayed for each of those abilities”.
Riot Tuxedo: “You can check the code lines in the link I just posted. The feature displaying damage dealt by each ability will also be present”.

With the information shared by Riot Games, we can see that the Match History feature will become much more interesting in the upcoming version. For instance, stealing major objectives is a very proud achievement for players, but the current Match History does not provide that information to players. The new version of Match History will give gamers a great opportunity to show off such achievements to their friends.

This will also help players have more motivation to improve their skills and calculation abilities. If you want to “show off” clearly, you have to invest in practice to achieve such highlight moments. It can be said that the “new” Match History is a feature that is very much worth looking forward to in the upcoming version, even though it does not directly affect the gameplay of League of Legends.
