As previously reported, at the end of April, Noway was unexpectedly announced to return to the professional League of Legends scene. And once again, his destination is GAM Esports – where he has achieved countless successes in his career.
However, Noway’s transfer story suddenly turned into a comedy sketch when recently, Cao Lê Tuấn Tú – manager of SBTC and also Noway’s manager, unexpectedly announced the cancellation of all transfer agreements between this former player and GAM Esports.

In a newly posted status, “Ba Tú” clarified the reason for the incident. Specifically, during the past time, although Noway was announced to return to wear the GAM Esports jersey, this team did not present any plans regarding putting Noway on the official roster for the VCS Summer 2020.
The manager of SBTC contacted GAM to clarify this issue, as he shared that in order for Noway to return to professional play, all plans and projects related to this player’s streaming work must be canceled. Therefore, allowing Noway to return to play but not being certain about his inclusion in the registered lineup is a detrimental move.

In the showmatch tournament Ultimate Challenge, Noway was also not included in GAM Esports’ registered lineup, even though this tournament is essentially considered a competition for VCS teams to test new lineups in preparation for the VCS Summer 2020.
Due to GAM Esports’ inability to provide transparent plans for Noway, the SBTC team manager made a unilateral decision to terminate the agreement between GAM and Noway because the way GAM handled the situation showed a lack of transparency in the transfer contract execution.

Another noteworthy point is that Noway was actually a contract brought in by Tinikun, just before this coach announced his departure from GAM Esports. GAM’s management team has almost completely renewed after Tinikun’s departure, and perhaps this disagreement has led to Noway’s future becoming uncertain at GAM?
