Recently, the captain of GAM Esports – “Levi” Do Duy Khanh had the opportunity to appear on the air of the Vietnam Defense Television Channel (QPVN), during an interview about the topic of Vietnamese esports.
In this interview, Levi shared a lot about the ownership change of GAM Esports and the current state of the Vietnamese esports scene. Regarding the transfer of ownership of GAM Esports to NRG, Levi stated that this deal has brought many positive effects to GAM internally.
For the players, they have access to the mindset and methods of building a professional organization from international investors. Additionally, the benefits provided by NRG to the players have also been elevated. Players received salary increases, improving their material and spiritual well-being by having their own dedicated Gaming House for esports, equipped with optimal facilities to serve their living, training, and health improvement needs.

When asked about current issues in VCS such as under-the-table dealings and controversies regarding salary and bonuses recently, Levi shared his personal view that tightening the rules by the organizers will help ensure that such issues do not have a chance to recur in the future.
Meanwhile, regarding the salary and bonus discussion, Levi also shared very briefly. He believes that the terms in the contract (including salary payments) cannot be executed without mutual agreement from both sides – the managing team and the player.
At the time he was dragged into the incident where “Zeros accused GAM of owing salaries, bonuses, and paying low compensation to players”, Levi maintained a silent attitude, not making any statements. His appearance on the QPVN channel is also one of the rare occasions when Levi expressed his opinion on this issue.
