Encountering Gumayusi in ranked, GAM star receives a “bitter end”
It’s not uncommon for famous players to meet in ranked games, especially on the Korean server – considered the highest quality in the League of Legends scene for players to improve their skills. However, they don’t always have good experiences, as was the case with EasyLove – the ADC of GAM when teaming up with Gumayusi recently.
In a ranked match, Gumayusi played ADC and used Ashe while EasyLove picked Braum. According to many viewers of Gumayusi’s stream, the team started off well. However, after a while, all four of his teammates, including EasyLove, began to fall too often and “blame” each other. Among them, the Jungle, Mid Lane, and Top Lane positions fed the most. In the end, Gumayusi’s team lost despite his impressive KDA of 23/6/8.

Perhaps unable to keep his cool, the 2002-born ADC of T1 decided to… report and block all four of his teammates and then exited the stream immediately. Meanwhile, according to EasyLove, he didn’t realize that his lane partner was Gumayusi, leading to some slightly over-the-top situations.
Below the post about the incident, many expressed sympathy for Gumayusi’s “anger.” Some even suggested that he was being quite mild by simply reporting and blocking teammates who weren’t serious during ranked play. Many gamers who experience similar situations are often quick to hurl insults at each other.

Gumayusi’s continuous ranked climbing raises fan concerns
With Gumayusi continuously climbing ranks, many viewers express concerns that this week, T1’s ADC may remain benched. The reason is that a player who plays ranked a lot means they have less time for scrims – an important factor in deciding who will play officially. If T1 continues to bench Gumayusi, it will truly ignite a new wave of outrage, especially after other T1 members also showed signs of mental decline following the loss to HLE.
