With the first small testing phase for the two regions of Brazil and the Philippines, League of Legends: Wild Rift officially launched today with quite positive feedback from both players and livestream viewers.
Many players in Vietnam are also looking forward to downloading the game to experience it. Fortunately, with the installation file and game setup being widely introduced to the gaming community, many Vietnamese players have bypassed geographical restrictions to find ways to download the game for their phones. The community can see how to download League of Legends: Wild Rift without a Riot invitation HERE.

In addition to the excitement of experiencing this blockbuster firsthand, many players have expressed concerns about the button system of League of Legends: Wild Rift. Specifically, the button system is densely packed on the right side, with a rough count of up to 15 buttons crammed together with familiar functions such as: basic attack, last hitting, turret pushing, 4 distinct abilities, item accessories, 2 summoner spells, a ping warning system, and not to mention activated items. Too many buttons close together will pose significant difficulties for newcomers or even experienced players if they want to combo and use abilities/activated items effectively.

Not to mention that League of Legends: Wild Rift has too many skill shots, and it won’t be easy for players to master a champion, even if they are very familiar with it from the PC version.
Compared to Arena of Valor – the direct competitor to League of Legends: Wild Rift when it launches in Vietnam, Arena of Valor has a much more simplified skill and button system. The strength of League of Legends PC is that it is easy to play and accessible; however, in the mobile version, this product is considered quite cumbersome compared to its direct competitor.

It is still unclear whether this is a strength or a weakness of League of Legends: Wild Rift, as having too many buttons will naturally affect operations on the phone – especially with support champions that require many activated items. However, Riot’s intention may be to retain the most distinctive features of League of Legends PC so that players can showcase their skill levels as much as possible. For instance, last hitting minions, if left unchanged, will make players expend a lot more mental effort to control than simply “auto” last hitting, but most players still express a desire to see that mechanism return.

Nevertheless, this is still a testing version, and Riot will certainly have to take note of the contributions and feedback from the entire community. If having too many buttons affects the experience of the majority of players, gamers can rest assured that they will be adjusted reasonably in future versions.

A noteworthy piece of information is that even though players can “bypass” to experience it, their phone specifications must still meet Riot’s requirements, meaning they must have an Android device using a 64-bit chip. Players using iOS or 32-bit Android configurations will not be able to experience this version of League of Legends: Wild Rift.
