On his streaming channel, Uzi – the former AD carry of Royal Never Give Up, received a question from a fan about whether he could return to competition now that his injuries have been resolved. Considering his career age, Uzi, born in 1997, still has the potential to compete in a few more tournaments.
In response to the fan’s question, Jian Zihao (Uzi’s real name) stated: “I will test scrims after the Summer Split ends. But I’m quite worried, afraid I won’t be accepted because I’m only currently Diamond 1. I have to try harder, which team would recruit a player who is only Diamond 1?”

From Uzi’s response, it’s clear that he still has a deep passion for professional League of Legends matches. However, in a region where there are always at least six teams capable of competing for both the LPL championship and the World Championship, a player who only reaches Diamond 1 truly has limited opportunities for selection, no matter how illustrious their past may be.
But below the post related to Uzi’s statement, the Vietnamese League of Legends community didn’t miss the chance to invoke… “catfish leader” – Trần “Optimus” Văn Cường. This player also had a long struggle at the Diamond rank, to the point where he was frequently teased by his own fans about it.

While it’s uncertain whether Uzi can return to competition in the future, and if he does, whether there will be opportunities to seek glory again, looking at Uzi’s efforts, it’s evident that the passion still burns brightly within this former AD carry. And perhaps many League of Legends fans hope that one day, they will see Uzi’s Vayne and Lucian dominating in high-stakes matches once again.
