1. Hello Dau Dau, can you introduce a bit about yourself?
Hello everyone, my name is Nguyễn Thị Linh Chi, and I am often called Dau Dau. I was born on September 15, 1996, and my current rank in Teamfight Tactics is Top 6 in the Vietnam Server. My current job is a nutrition doctor.
2. How long have you been playing League of Legends? What made you stick with Teamfight Tactics? Is it difficult to reach Top 1, and how did you feel when you achieved it?
I have been playing League of Legends for a long time, so when Teamfight Tactics came out, I tried it right away and found it very engaging and suitable for me. With a Top 8 Challenger rank in Season 1, transitioning to Season 2 wasn’t too surprising, so after about 3 weeks, once Season 2 ranked opened, I diligently played after work and reached Top 1 Challenger. When I achieved this rank, I was very surprised and happy because I accomplished something I had longed for. Although I can’t maintain this rank due to my friend TG Stillness grinding so hard, it is still a remarkable milestone.
3. Have you ever been told that you “got help to rank up” since female gamers achieving high ranks often face criticism? How do you react to such comments?
As a female gamer, I often receive comments like that: being accused of buying accounts or asking others to rank up for me. After receiving such comments, I just ignore them because anyone who has watched my livestream from the beginning can see that I rank up and play the game based on my own skills.
4. Do your family members support your gaming?
My parents are quite supportive because they know it’s my hobby. Additionally, my dad also enjoys playing games. Sometimes when I compete, my parents watch and cheer for me from home, which makes me very happy.
5. What are your future plans?
In the near future, I hope to become a professional gamer, a caster, and a streamer in Teamfight Tactics to achieve more success with this game. I hope more and more people will love and watch my streams, as well as support me in my upcoming projects. Everyone can follow me here 😀
