Amidst the chaotic VCS Summer 2020 transfer market, with numerous unexpected moves from various teams, Levi – the captain of GAM Esports, has left fans worried by changing his in-game name to a rather cryptic title – The Last Stand.

The Last Stand – loosely understood as “the final stand”, is a name that Levi has only been using since yesterday, May 26. Of course, for a team like GAM that is suffering significant personnel loss, the phrase associated with “Last” is clearly not a good sign.
Many fans have expressed concern that this IGN might hint at additional players leaving, specifically Dia1. This mid-laner has only been with GAM for one season but has previously hinted at a desire to leave the team. Thus, he is the player that GAM fans are most worried about potentially following in the footsteps of Palette and Zeros to depart from the team.
However, all of this is merely speculation from the online community; it’s possible that the name just indicates that stars and coaches associated with GAM have successively left, leaving only Levi behind, while Kiaya and Dia1 remain as young talents.

In their latest move, GAM Esports has announced the signing of two new players, Jisoo and Genza – former players from the VCSB team – QTV Gaming. While Jisoo is an addition for the ADC position, more notably, Genza is a name competing in the mid-lane position.
Both of these players have been included in the roster for the upcoming PCSxVCS showmatch.

GAM Esports’ recruitment of Genza doesn’t say much, but the addition of another mid-laner increases the likelihood of Dia1’s departure.
Former coach Tinikun has previously shared that Dia1 wants to leave GAM in this transfer window, and moreover, his former coach is showing signs of a potential return in the near future.
If Tinikun returns to professional League of Legends (likely as the coach of Saigon Buffalo), could Dia1 have more reasons to part ways with GAM to reunite with Tinikun in a new jersey?
