In the 2020 summer season, many domestic tournaments around the world feature several teams that are still “empty-handed” and have yet to secure a single win. Some viewers jokingly say that these teams play Teamfight Tactics too much, leading to the confusion that League of Legends also has a “losing streak”.
Here are the teams currently on a losing streak this summer season:
EVOS Esports 0-3 in VCS

At the bottom of this ranking is the “youngest” EVOS Esports with three consecutive losses. However, despite their poor performance, this team still possesses standout members who can “comeback” at any moment. Moreover, this team continues to entertain quite well on social media, so fans of the White Tigers don’t have to worry too much about the players’ mental state during this period.
Pixel Esports Club 0-3 in LLA

As one of the weakest teams in the LLA region, it’s no surprise that this team has yet to secure any wins. They are also one of the few teams without Korean imports in their league, so it’s understandable that there is a performance gap.
Hanwha Life Esports in LCK, RoX and Vega Squadron in LCL all share a record of 0-4

AXIR 0-6 in LJL

In a league that favors foreign players, each team in the LJL has at least two Koreans on their roster. However, only AXIR has managed to maintain a record-breaking losing streak of 0-6 in this tournament.
Rogue Warriors 0-5 in LPL

Finally, there’s the trio of Dignitas 0-6 in LCS, FC Schalke 04 0-7 in LEC, and SANDBOX Gaming 0-5 in LCK.
As LPL has just “thrived” with teams competing at peak performance, Rogue Warriors have faced off against all the “giants” like TES, JDG, IG,… and thus began the season with an unfortunate five-game losing streak.

As these three major regions often “troll” each other on social media, a meme has emerged implying that all three are at the bottom of their respective tables. If nothing changes, these teams will continue to miss out on playoffs or, worse, fight for relegation as they did in the spring season.
