LCK Superstar Expresses Confusion Over T1 – Gumayusi Drama
Recently, as the T1 – Gumayusi drama erupted, most of the comments and opinions surrounding the situation came from external sources, including casters, influencers, and fans. T1 has been very quiet on the matter, with only a few statements from Coach KkOma, GM Becker, and later on, the controversial AMAs from CEO Joe Marsh. Recently, an LCK superstar, the rare player to speak out on the issue, is Rascal – the former star of KT Rolster.

Specifically, Rascal admitted in a recent talk show: “I really don’t understand why T1 benched Gumayusi. His contribution to their championship is significant. Is it too regrettable, hasty, and potentially wasteful to have him on the bench? Then, there’s the situation where the CEO had to intervene to bring him back? It’s very confusing.”

However, Rascal later declined to discuss the matter further and shifted to questions about former teams and predictions for the 2025 Regular Seasons. It seems Rascal knows more than what he shared, especially since recently, while preparing for military service, he frequently gathered with Deft, Keria, and other members who have worn T1 jerseys like Oner and Zeus.

Rascal’s question is a common one among many fans regarding the incident. After all, no one understands what T1 is thinking by putting Gumayusi on the bench. And why, while the situation is still unresolved, does the T1 CEO make a statement that is almost guaranteed to spark controversy, even somewhat undermining Gumayusi himself?

T1 Can Only Win as an Explanation
Clearly, the fault does not lie with Smash and certainly not with Gumayusi. Given the current situation, aside from winning and achieving high results, there’s no way for T1 to weather the storm, even if Faker tries to explain it all.
