Hong Anh’s real name is Dinh Dang Hieu, born and raised in Phu Tho. He is a talented player from the golden generation U96 of AoE Vietnam. Famous for his highly emotional attacking playstyle, Hong Anh is loved by many AoE fans in Vietnam. Along with Chim Se Di Nang, Hong Anh was born on International Children’s Day, June 1, 1996.
When asked about himself in the past six months, Hong Anh shared: “The past six months have been a difficult but very valuable time for me. Life’s incidents have helped me grow and become much stronger. Currently, I’ve gained 4 kg compared to before, so I’m no longer too skinny (laughs)”. The latest images of this player from Phu Tho also show that Hong Anh has gained weight and is “fleshier” than before.
Hong Anh also shared the difficulties in returning to his passion. The Thai Binh captain added, “AoE is a game that requires many actions and processing speed at the same time. A period of 3 months without practice has made it very challenging for me to reintegrate into the very harsh AoE Top 1 battlefield.”
In response to the question many fans are currently curious about, whether Hong Anh can defeat Chim Se Di Nang, this player shared: “Currently, my form has reached about 80% of the period where I felt I played best. Facing Chim Se and defeating him has always been my biggest goal. I’m always confident, but the truth is that my chances of winning against Chim Se in the Archery category are not high. However, you have to try to know, I’m very ready to ‘go all out’ with Chim Se in a match of 3 categories.”
Before concluding the quick interview with our reporter team, Hong Anh added about the biggest motivation that helped him overcome difficult times: “Only after experiencing difficulties did I realize how much support I received from the audience. On the first day back to competition, many fans messaged me directly. That night, I stayed up until 4 AM reading encouragement from the fans supporting me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all and hope everyone continues to support Hong Anh in the future. You are the biggest motivation that helps me continue to pursue my passion.”
Hong Anh has also secured a new contract with Facebook Gaming. This will provide favorable conditions for him to focus on competing and quickly return to his peak performance. Hopefully, in the near future, the classic match in the Archery category between Hong Anh and Chim Se Di Nang will soon take place to fulfill the wishes of AoE fans.
