Information Emerges About MadLife Possibly Joining HoL After Faker and Uzi
As we know, recently, Riot officially released the HoL skin line for Uzi – a player often regarded as the “Faker of LPL” in terms of influence and fame. In fact, many fans jokingly remarked that even being chosen for HoL, Uzi had to take a backseat to Faker, as the title of “King of Second Place” has shadowed him throughout his career. However, while Uzi’s inclusion, though controversial, seems reasonable, a recent almost unbelievable rumor has sparked intense debate within the League of Legends community: MadLife may possibly join HoL, leading to heated discussions.

Accordingly, some information in the form of rumors about MadLife’s appearance in HoL has surprised many, and of course, it has come with questions and objections. Although he can be considered the “Support God” when using champions like Thresh or Blitzcrank with incredible skill, that’s about all MadLife has to offer. In fact, the few notable titles he has achieved include only one OGN Summer 2012 championship and a runner-up finish at the World Championship that same year. Other than that, MadLife has never stood on the highest podium of any tournament.

MadLife Joining HoL Is Almost Impossible
If Uzi can still be talked about regarding influence and fame, then even these two factors are hard to assert for MadLife. Currently, the former star of Azubu Frost is almost “lost to the world.” He doesn’t have a sufficiently large fanbase to demonstrate that he truly has influence or fame within the Korean League of Legends scene, let alone globally.
In reality, people still only repeatedly mention his highlight clips with Thresh and Blitzcrank from the old days – a time when initiating fights as a Support was still a foreign concept and map control, warding, and de-warding had not yet become mandatory habits for all 10 players in a match.

On the other hand, HoL is a form of “money extraction” by Riot. However, even within the LCK, people might not consider MadLife to be the most famous Support, as there are still many other names like Mata, Wolf, and Keria (all currently with T1 – the most fan-supported team in League of Legends). Therefore, there is no reason for Riot to invest in a risky deal with MadLife.
Furthermore, champions like Blitzcrank or Thresh are considered outlier choices and are currently no longer meta-relevant, making it extremely rare for any skins (if they exist) to appear in the professional arena. Thus, the idea of MadLife appearing in HoL seems to be nothing more than a fantasy.
