Recently, a leak list of League of Legends skins for the remainder of the 2020 season has once again stirred the gaming community with its “exciting” information. Among them, the most notable highlight is the identity of the next three Prestige skins set to be revealed on the Summoner’s Rift.
However, these are all unofficial sources and have not been confirmed by Riot, except for some skins that have already been announced and are just waiting for their release date:
The next skin line to be released will belong to the Elderwood theme, featuring Ornn, Volibear, Kai’Sa, and Kindred. Notably, Elderwood Ornn is a skin that has been confirmed by Riot Games.
The Academy Warrior skin group is also expected to welcome new members, including: Professor Jhin, Sett (Fighting Class Student), Viktor (Light Class Student), Zoe (Magic Class Student), and Prestige Zoe, along with Ahri (Assassin Class Student???).
Notably, in this list, two names stand out: Faye (Akali’s sister) and Yone (Yasuo’s deceased brother). These characters are said to be new champions soon to appear in League of Legends, and they will also feature two skins upon their release: Blossom Sakura Faye (Faye Cherry Blossom, part of the same skin line as Lucian, Senna, Akali, and Taliyah, with Lucian Cherry Blossom also having a Prestige skin) and Midnight Yone (Yone of the Night).
Finally, there is the Cowboy skin line. Thanks to the popularity of the two recently launched Cowboy skin groups, this skin line has become one of the most “expensive” items that Riot possesses. The 2020 Cowboy skin series will add three new members: Nautilus, Zed, and Evelynn, with Zed being the next champion to receive a Prestige skin after Zoe.
Thus, the key points from the above list can be summarized as follows:
– Ornn has a new skin (confirmed by Riot).
– Zoe, Lucian, and Zed will be the next three champions to receive Prestige skins (Zoe is confirmed, but whether the skin is from the Academy Warrior line remains unclear).
– The Academy Warrior and Cowboy skins will continue to release new products.
– The two new champions in League of Legends will be Faye and Yone.
However, it is important to emphasize that this information has not been verified, and there will certainly be some “inaccuracies”. For instance, regarding the Elderwood Volibear skin, this is a rather unlikely case since Riot has confirmed that Volibear will receive a new skin, but it will not belong to the Elderwood theme, but rather to the Eldritch Horror theme.
However, some other pieces of information seem quite reasonable, such as Zoe likely appearing in the same skin universe as Ezreal and Lux to play the “third wheel”, or Zed reuniting with his sworn enemy Jhin in the Cowboy skin line.
Anyway, to prove the accuracy of this list, we will still have to wait until Riot officially announces their new plans.
