LCK Roadshow in Vietnam Sparks Controversy Among Vietnamese LoL Community
As we know, at the beginning of the season, the Vietnamese LoL community, and the global community in general, especially in the LCK region, was abuzz when DRX announced that their LCK Roadshow during the 2026 Regular Seasons would be held in Vietnam. This marks the first time an LCK team has organized a domestic league match in a country outside of South Korea and in a smaller region of LoL. However, recently, announcements related to the LCK Roadshow 2026 have left many VCS viewers dissatisfied.

Accordingly, there was no official information teased beforehand, and DRX unexpectedly announced that ticket sales would start on March 9th (Vietnam time). Although this is just an “early bird ticket,” it was enough to catch the Vietnamese LoL audience off guard and feel upset as the organizers did not provide viewers with time to prepare. Notably, tickets for the match are almost certainly going to be very expensive.

Next, on the evening of March 8th, DRX continued to announce the seatmap for each type of ticket as well as the benefits of each ticket category. However, according to many community opinions, the ticket prices are too high while the accompanying benefits are not commensurate. In fact, many viewers are ready to abandon their intention to attend the LCK Roadshow, especially when DRX is set to face off against Gen.G and HLE – names that one can roughly predict the outcome just by hearing.

DRX has yet to respond while the Vietnamese LoL audience is upset
Alongside public opinions, DRX has not made any further announcements. Of course, the team is likely aware of the audience’s reactions, as the number of negative comments continues to rise “exponentially.” However, DRX may also be in a “catch-22” situation as they are merely following regulations and do not have full authority over the operational arrangements.
