In these days, fans of T1 are living in a state of happiness mixed with anxiety. This is because no T1 fan is unconcerned about the transfer market, which has begun to stir with numerous rumors set to be unveiled by news experts or netizens. Especially since, in 2023, three pillars of T1, Gumayusi, Zeus, and Keria, will also have their contracts expiring, and surely no one wants these superstars, who recently won the Worlds 2023, to leave.

However, before any information related to the players emerged, the League of Legends community was “stirred” by rumors regarding the T1 youth team and coaching staff. Specifically, on the evening of November 20, two “earth-shattering” pieces of news appeared. First, there is news that the famous ADC of the LEC – Rekkles may join the T1 roster, but in the Academy team. This is T1’s youngest team, typically reserved for young players who have not yet reached the age or skill level to be promoted to the Challengers team.

The second piece of news is that the legendary coach of SKT T1/T1 – KkOma may return to take over the “hot seat” at the team that made his coaching career successful. As is known, current coach Tom is only an interim coach, and T1 still needs a true head coach after Bengi’s departure.

However, in reality, Rekkles has been a Super ADC of the LEC region, regarded as a legend here, and is also quite old (Rekkles is 27 years old, the same age as Faker). Therefore, the possibility of him playing for the Academy team is nearly impossible. Moreover, regarding coaching, it is not certain that Rekkles would succeed, as historically, LCK or T1 has never seen any foreign coach, especially from Europe or America. Perhaps, he could participate as a streamer similar to what LS did in the past.

The return of Coach KkOma seems more plausible as he will definitely not take long to adapt to the environment and his new students. After all, Zeus, Faker, and Keria have all been trained by Coach KkOma when participating in the ASIAD team. Furthermore, the current interim coach – Tom is also a former student of Coach KkOma. If the duo can work together and lead T1 to more glory, that would be the dream of T1 fans.

Nevertheless, T1 has not made any moves yet. And the above information, while still causing controversy in the global League of Legends community, currently remains just rumors.
