FPL (short for FACEIT Pro League) is an in-house practice/competition environment organized by FACEIT, exclusively for players at the highest level. With pro players currently competing for top teams and a prize pool of up to $20,000 each month, FPL is a true playground with extremely high-quality competition, where pro players have the opportunity to practice and meet outstanding young talents. This is also where many young talents are discovered and have the opportunity to rise to professionalism, such as ZywOo (Vitality), oBo (Complexity), frozen, or Ropz (Mousesports),…

Yesterday, the FPL qualifiers for March concluded and among the list of new players, one notable name is m0NESY, the prodigy currently playing for Na`Vi Junior. Although he did not qualify (finishing 6th in the qualifiers), his devastating performance truly impressed the organizers, leading them to invite him to compete. At just 14 years old, he is one of the youngest players in FPL history. In this list, we can see a series of young stars currently competing professionally, like oBo (who joined FPL at 15), ropz (competing in FPL since 17), or frozen (the youngest player in FPL history at 13)…

m0NESY started playing CS 1.6 at the age of 6 and switched to CS:GO at 9, taking only one year to reach GE rank; by 12, he had reached level 10 on FACEIT (after just 150 games) and now has nearly 9,000 hours of CS:GO playtime. Before transitioning to CS:GO, m0NESY had 3,000 hours of Dota 2 gameplay, but he later abandoned it to pursue professional CS:GO after being introduced to it by his older brother. m0NESY joined Na`Vi Junior in January 2020 and has delivered impressive performances, securing victories for the team.
Not only m0NESY, but another player currently competing for Na`Vi Junior, Aunkere, also passed the qualifiers, finishing 3rd overall. FPL is truly becoming a fantastic training ground for young talents to hone their skills and showcase their abilities before they turn 16 to join professional teams.
