Creativity is something that Riot Games employees never lack; they always come up with many cool ideas about League of Legends, champions, and of course, new gameplay styles too. Just a few hours ago, a Riot Games employee shared their new experimental story on social media, leaving everyone in stitches due to the bitter ending.

The story goes that Blizz_lol, a member of Riot’s game analysis team, was in conversation with Pabu (a well-known Australian streamer) about a new jungle path. Pabu suggested to Blizz that Lissandra with the combo of Flash + Cloud Cloak has extremely strong ganking potential and could jungle quite well. Finding the idea appealing, Blizz decided to test it in Clash mode with other Riot employees, and the outcome was a resounding defeat in both matches.

To further “salt the wound” of his colleague, Riot Lutzburg, who is responsible for reworking Volibear, even teased Blizz by saying that he bought a lot of magic resistance to counter the Frog camp. This made Blizz exclaim that this stupid frog was too hard to kill and he would just be friends with the bird camp, wolf camp, and occasionally the stone golem.

Logically, Lissandra does have early access and crowd control, making her quite suitable for jungling, but her jungle clearing ability is too weak, thus not fitting for this position. Perhaps gamers who want to learn a new gameplay style should look at professional players or top Challengers, rather than relying on “theorycrafting experts” like the aforementioned Riot employees, or they will only end up with a bad experience.
