Ha Tieu Phu’s “Touching” Action on Faker’s Sensitive Matter
As we know, recently, Hanwha Life Esports clinched the title of LCK Summer 2024. Naturally, with this surprising achievement from the team nicknamed “Gen.G in orange”, the global League of Legends community has been buzzing with congratulations. Notably, during the match, there were emotional images of the parents of HLE players celebrating their children’s success. However, from here, a drama erupted when Ha Tieu Phu’s page posted something that touched on one of the most sensitive issues related to Faker, which is his mother.

Specifically, Ha Tieu Phu’s page captioned an image of the parents of HLE stars, but beneath the post, this page reacted to a comment directly mentioning that Faker no longer has his mother by his side during failures or victories. It is worth mentioning that the topic of Faker’s family is one that anyone with a conscience in the League of Legends community tends to avoid, and it is often used by anti-fans of T1 and Faker whenever they attack the “G.O.A.T of League of Legends”. As a KOL, content creator, and famous streamer of VCS, Ha Tieu Phu allowed this incident to happen on his fanpage.

The community is outraged and the apology post only feels like “adding fuel to the fire”
Naturally, as is often the case, the Vietnamese League of Legends community erupted in anger at the actions on the streamer’s page. In fact, some viewers who frequently “press” whenever T1 loses could not accept this. Some even suggested that Ha Tieu Phu’s management team should intervene to clarify the matter.

However, recently, the post has disappeared and in its place, an apology was posted on Ha Tieu Phu’s page. Nevertheless, the apology post is considered to have only “added fuel to the fire” as it did not contain any apology directed towards Faker, but only “apologized to T1 fans.” Moreover, many have analyzed that the punctuation and line breaks in the post are illogical. Some even assert that this post is merely a copy-paste job done by artificial intelligence (AI) and shows no genuine intent.

Currently, the incident continues to attract the attention of the VCS community. However, only Ha Tieu Phu’s content managers have spoken out while he and his management company remain silent. It is also evident that even incidents unrelated to Faker still have some groups intentionally dragging T1’s Mid Laner into the spotlight, but in a very negative manner.
