Anti-fans attack Gumayusi but “touch the pain” of the entire League of Legends community including Faker
Perhaps it’s no longer a surprise; whenever T1 performs poorly or there are unfavorable statistics for Gumayusi, everyone can guess that the hardcore anti-fans of Gumayusi, known as T1Gall, will act with negative gestures and offensive words directed at the 2002-born AD Carry. However, recently, a series of banners along with funeral flowers sent to T1 targeting Gumayusi also “touched” Faker and the entire League of Legends community, referencing the World Championship titles and international achievements.
Accordingly, one of the criteria listed by this group to force T1 management to replace Gumayusi is “To achieve the third consecutive World Championship title.” However, this is precisely Faker’s “pain point.” Because in 2017, SKT T1 was considered to have a very strong roster, with a more stable performance than T1 ZOFGK. Although Faker has won numerous titles, that was the only year when he no longer had the “Jungle God” Bengi around him. Faker also first took on the role of in-game leader during that period.

Of course, the League of Legends community, as well as T1 fans or even Gumayusi’s solo fans, probably no longer expect T1 to speak out in defense of the player.
