In the early hours of May 25 (Vietnam time), Riot Games released an additional video introducing the “Immortal Legend” Ahri skin. This skin was introduced by Riot Games as part of the event honoring Faker’s induction into the League of Legends Hall of Fame. Additionally, the “Demon King” LeBlanc skin was also teased in this video.

Not stopping there, Ahri’s skin also features many “transformations” in Riot’s video. Therefore, it is highly likely that this skin honoring Faker will have a Supreme tier, as Riot often applies the “transformation” ability for skins of this nature. This is also seen as another tribute to Faker, as the “Demon King” holds an impressive collection of titles in the League of Legends community.

Shortly after introducing the aforementioned Ahri skin, Riot also released another interesting video featuring Faker’s memories with his teammates. Specifically, Gumayusi in this video offered his congratulations to his senior as the “Demon King” was honored. Moreover, Gumayusi also revealed his most memorable moment with Faker after many years together, and surprisingly, it was the 2023 World Championship title that he did not mention.
“The most memorable moment for me with Sang Hyeok (Faker) is the V10 achievement with the LCK Spring 2022 championship. That was the first title that the current T1 roster won together, so I can never forget it. Congratulations once again on becoming the first person to enter the League of Legends Hall of Fame, Sang Hyeok” – Gumayusi shared interestingly about Faker.

Remember at the LCK Spring 2022, T1 achieved an incredible feat by going undefeated in both the group stage and playoffs. For Gumayusi personally, that was also his first LCK title. Therefore, the LCK Spring 2022 championship became a memorable milestone and a source of pride that Gumayusi achieved with the T1 roster.

However, after the aforementioned championship, T1 could not surpass Gen.G in the regional competition. With the LCK Summer 2024 approaching, this will be another opportunity for T1 to find a way to “overthrow” Gen.G’s dominance. Hopefully, Gumayusi’s memorable experiences will motivate him and the T1 roster to rise again and claim the LCK title once more.
