Gumayusi Has a Perfect Comeback with T1
The match against DRX, as usual, might not attract too much attention since a victory for T1 seemed almost certain. However, in the Regular Seasons 2025, this match drew significant interest from the League of Legends community. This is because Gumayusi returned to the T1 starting lineup after a long period on the bench and amidst various dramas. In response to fans’ trust, Gumayusi did not disappoint his supporters with a flawless victory and an unbeatable KDA.

Specifically, although using two traditional carry champions, which are among the least mobile in League of Legends, namely Jhin and Miss Fortune, Gumayusi did not go down even once in both games. Not to mention, he also had extremely high-quality “burst fire” moments, notably the situation at the Dragon pit in game 2 that helped T1 “trade blows” and gain a teamfight advantage against DRX.

Gumayusi Is Proving His Irreplaceable Importance at T1
It can be said that while DRX is a weaker opponent and T1 still has a Gen.G ahead of them that is riding high after a victory over HLE, it cannot be denied that the “Prince” has made a comeback that exceeded expectations. Additionally, this is also a necessary “warm-up” for Gumayusi before facing Ruler in the next match.

With an impressive comeback, Gumayusi once again solidifies his status as a top-tier AD carry in the LCK. This also serves as a heavy message to T1 – that they have let a two-time World Champion sit on the bench for too long, which is a tremendous waste.
