Recently, this female player mysteriously disappeared from the streaming scene, causing many fans great concern. Until May 7, she made her return and shared more details about her “disappearance.”
What’s alarming is that this reason has made Mayumi’s loyal fans even more worried, as she revealed that she was being harassed by a security guard at her residence, who even fabricated information to humiliate her on social media:
“Hello everyone. I’m very sorry for disappearing over the past few days. I’ve encountered quite a complex situation in the past week. I moved to a new apartment and had to handle the lease signing process. So, I provided my personal information to the security staff of the apartment for the contract.
However, after learning my phone number, the guard began harassing me and continuously messaging me. I stated that I was not interested in what he was saying and asked him to delete my number immediately. But instead of complying, he became even more aggressive when he found out I was a streamer.
I reported this to the building management, and he was fired. But the situation didn’t stop there; he later posted fabricated stories about me on social media, posing as the security staff where I live. Everything spiraled out of control, and some people, unaware of my situation, believed his lies and began to humiliate me. I feel very scared and anxious because that man knows all my information, from my address to my phone number. Therefore, I terminated my lease and am looking for ways to resolve this issue.”
On Twitter, Mayumi shared more details about the incident. According to her, after the guard obtained her phone number, he started messaging her. Initially, this female streamer/player responded cheerfully and politely. However, later, when Mayumi replied to his joke with a funny meme, he began making inappropriate comments, leading to her subsequent reactions as described above.
In reality, harassment is a common concern for women, not just for public figures like Mayumi. There have been many warnings about young girls not living alone, as they can easily fall prey to thieves or harassers.
Fortunately, Mayumi took timely action before anything worse could happen. And it seems that the authorities will also be invited to intervene in this matter, as the evidence presented by the female streamer is quite clear.
On Mayumi’s social media pages, her fan community has sent messages of support to the female streamer while strongly condemning the harassment and perverted behavior of the security guard.
