The reason might stem from the fact that Gen.G lost one match to KT Rolster during the Spring 2024 group stage, causing many to stop counting the undefeated record of Chovy and his teammates.
However, indeed Gen.G of 2024 appears to be one of the most perfect teams in LCK history. This lineup gathers almost all the elite talent in each position. The only concern might be the somewhat unpredictable performance of Peyz. He has yet to show an independent combat capability like his predecessor Ruler or competitors like Gumayusi, Viper (LCK) or Elk, JackeyLove (LPL). This player still relies too much on the performance of the seasoned players in the team, and fortunately for Peyz, all four remaining members of Gen.G are currently performing very well.
