Recently, the world-renowned esports organization – Gen.G Esports has unexpectedly released information about recruiting young talents from League of Legends in Vietnam. Specifically, the Gen.G League of Legends team is planning to recruit players for positions in the LCK CL (the second tier of the LCK for youth teams and academy teams) and students for the Gen.G Academy.

One of the mandatory requirements for candidates is to be under 21 years old and to have reached the Master rank on the Vietnamese League of Legends server. Additionally, candidates must ensure they can live “away from home,” have no issues with traveling abroad, and good communication in English will be an added advantage.
Joining Gen.G Esports’ recruitment campaign, selected gamers will have the opportunity to live and compete in the professional League of Legends environment in Korea, directly residing in Gen.G Esports’ “world-class” Gaming House in Korea, and have the chance to develop their professional gaming career if they qualify to register for LCK CL.
In the history of League of Legends in Korea, the LCK has never used foreign players; however, in the lower-tier tournament previously known as CK – now LCK CL, there has been a precedent for Korean teams recruiting foreign players. Therefore, Vietnamese gamers absolutely have the opportunity to participate in this tournament if they prove their skills by joining Gen.G.

As one of the three League of Legends teams in Korea that owns a World Championship title (formerly known as Samsung Galaxy), Gen.G Esports is also known as one of the top 10 esports organizations with the largest brand value in the world. Being able to join Gen.G Esports will be an incredible opportunity for young talents of Vietnamese League of Legends to familiarize themselves with a world-class competitive environment, while also receiving attractive compensation compared to the general level of esports in the country.
