Project A is one of the new game products announced by Riot Games during the 10th anniversary celebration of League of Legends that took place last year. In addition to mobile games confirmed for this year such as League of Legends: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics Mobile, the emergence of a shooter game inspired by League of Legends is something that the gaming community is eagerly anticipating.
Recently, the latest information about Project A has been revealed. According to many credible sources on Twitter, this game has completed its gameplay and has entered the closed beta testing phase. At the same time, the game will officially be named Valorant.

Does the name Valorant bear any similarity to Valoran – the name of the continent in the Runeterra universe in the old League of Legends lore? This is something we cannot know for sure, but one thing is certain: the setting of Project A will be somewhat related to the League of Legends Universe.
In addition to revealing the official name, Project A – Valorant, new in-game images have surprisingly leaked. These images depict the champion selection phase in the game, and from there we can see that the champions in Valorant also possess their own classes and unique skill sets.

In the teaser released in October last year, the gameplay of Project A was also relatively well-defined. Riot Games’ FPS masterpiece will be developed based on a “shooting combined with MOBA” gameplay, which once caused a storm in the international gaming scene with masterpieces like Overwatch, Paladins…
However, up to now, this MOBA – FPS trend has almost declined and no longer receives as much attention from the gaming community as it did at the beginning. Even Blizzard’s blockbuster – Overwatch is also falling into a “dead game” state due to a severe lack of players. Will Riot Games succeed in bringing this tactical shooter genre back to the top with Project A?
