GAM Sets Extremely Difficult Goals After Crushing TALON
In the recent week of LCP 2025, 2 out of 3 VCS teams secured victories, notably GAM’s dominating match against the highly-rated opponent TALON. Despite being on a poor run, TALON still boasts several quality players. Meanwhile, GAM had yet to secure any victories before this match took place. However, GAM crushed their opponent, achieving an impressive 2-0 win, thereby maintaining a favorable position for the remaining journey in LCP.
Although this victory hasn’t yet qualified GAM for the playoffs, it has indeed “buffed” the morale of the yellow-black VCS players. According to player Elio in a post-match interview, he expressed confidence: “Currently, my personal performance and the team’s mentality are very stable. Not only do we aim to reach the World Championship, but we also set the goal of bringing home the LCP championship title this year. At the same time, I hope all three VCS teams can make it to the World Championship.”
GAM’s Aspirations Are Extremely Challenging
Aside from TALON, a very strong opponent still lies ahead for GAM, namely CFO. Since the start of the new season, CFO has performed impressively and shows no signs of slowing down, except when facing incredibly strong teams. In fact, TSW, who was recently on a high, was convincingly defeated by CFO. Therefore, before discussing whether GAM will win the LCP championship, merely having all three VCS teams reach the World Championship seems… “unrealistic.”
As for GAM, the victory against an unstable TALON is a good morale booster. However, if GAM reverts to the mistakes made in their matches against TSW or CFO a few weeks ago, they may find themselves “stuck” again, with dire scenarios awaiting this team.
