GAM CEO Posts Photo That Sparks Controversy in the VCS Community
Recently, GAM Esports achieved a flawless victory against TALON, becoming the second team from the APAC region to secure a spot at MSI 2025. This victory was quite unexpected, as no one was fully confident that GAM would win before the match started. Not to mention, TALON had a dominating performance in Game 1, putting GAM in a difficult position. Of course, after the victory, the members of GAM celebrated with photos. The CEO of GAM also shared a photo that immediately became a topic of controversy.

In the photo posted by CEO TK Nguyen, the Mid Laner Aress was notably absent, surprising many. Although Aress may not have performed as impressively as Emo, he is still a member of the team and has made significant contributions during GAM’s journey in the Mid-Seasons 2025. Meanwhile, all other GAM members were present in the photo.

On various forums, many VCS fans expressed their confusion over Aress’s absence. There have even been speculations that he might be ‘out’ right after MSI 2025. In the recent match against TALON, Aress did not play at all. Previously, when Aress appeared and played Azir (Game 3), the entire GAM team seemed to lack focus, resulting in a loss to TSW in that game.

The Future of GAM’s Star is Looking Uncertain
It can be said that Aress has not met expectations since joining GAM. However, this has only increased the pressure on him, and it seems that things are getting worse for this player. Perhaps, as many fans have noted, Aress may not be the right fit for GAM, given that joining this team means the pressure and expectations will multiply.
No one knows the real reason behind the controversial post from GAM’s CEO, but it seems a not-so-positive future awaits Aress ahead.
