From the Gumayusi Incident, Fans Remember Faker
These days, it can be said that this is an incredibly tough period in Gumayusi’s career. However, for many T1 fans, Coach KkOma and his coaching staff are taking the right actions. While Smash continues to perform well, Coach KkOma remains confident in his choice. However, this also brings back a memory related to Faker.
Accordingly, many fans have evaluated that Coach KkOma always has a keen eye for talent and that the choice of Smash is justified. During the historic transfer event of SKT T1 and the entire League of Legends community, Coach KkOma personally spent his own money to buy a PC for Faker when he made a request to both SKT T1 and KT Rolster as a condition for recruiting him.
And the incident that followed became history. Faker became the “G.O.A.T of the League of Legends community” and simultaneously made SKT T1/T1 the most successful team in League of Legends history. All this stemmed from a timely action by Coach KkOma.
It will be hard to find a second Faker, but Gumayusi must also strive his best
Of course, the matches of the LCK Cup do not significantly impact the main tournament coming up in a few months. Not to mention, the Baron team has certainly failed, and T1’s position is hard to change. But it cannot be denied that Smash is performing well with the playstyle of “the whole team serves the AD Carry”.
