Former World Champion JackeyLove Acknowledges the Feeling When Facing T1
Perhaps those who frequently follow professional League of Legends know that T1 is always a highly regarded team in every tournament they participate in, regardless of whether the T1 players are in their best form. Of course, they may not be the top championship contenders, but they certainly cannot be underestimated, especially Faker and his teammates. In fact, the “aura” of T1 has even made JackeyLove – a player who has once crowned the World Champion – feel a sense of fear when facing them, specifically in the recent 2025 World Championship semifinals.

Accordingly, JackeyLove stated: “Right from the first game against them (T1), I felt that not only I but the entire team was really scared. We had no willpower left to face them anymore.”
JackeyLove’s sharing also received agreement from 369 – a teammate and one of the players who has faced T1 the most throughout various World Championships: “We were very scared even during the draft phase. There were many opinions like ‘this pick might not be good’, ‘we’re worried about this champion’, a lot of things. We were really too anxious, scared even when we had an advantage.

T1 is an Unpredictable Opponent, Creating an Advantage
In recent seasons, it has been very difficult to predict T1’s results whenever they participate in any tournament. This is because T1 domestically and T1 internationally are almost always two completely opposite faces. It is this unpredictability of T1, along with the champions’ mentality and the skills of each player, that makes their opponents anxious, even fearful when preparing to face this team.

And in the upcoming 2026 season, T1 may become even more unpredictable. The peak will be when people understand this team’s playstyle clearly, yet there’s no way to counter it.
