Recently, the VCS community has continuously shared posts about the passing of Trần Mai “Mias” Anh Khoa. The news of his death has been confirmed by Mias’s girlfriend. For those who may not know, Mias was a former player for EVOS and possessed many talents. Commentator Hoàng Luân once stated that Mias was one of the most promising young players of the 2018 – 2019 season. However, he later struggled to find his place and had to leave EVOS before the Summer Split of 2019.

Mias’s unexpected passing has left many longtime VCS fans feeling deeply regretful and sorrowful. The former EVOS star passed away at just 24 years old, with a bright future ahead of him. During his time competing for EVOS, although it wasn’t very long, Mias still made a significant impression. Notably, he had a fiery playstyle, unafraid of clashes, which was best exemplified by his nickname “HoangTuGT” (Prince of Clash). Mias was also contemporaneous with many VCS superstars like Noway and Dia1. After leaving EVOS, Mias had a stint with QTV Gaming, led by the legendary QTV.

On various forums, the Vietnamese League of Legends community is sending condolences to Mias and his family.

Mias has passed, but surely his contributions to the Vietnamese League of Legends scene will last forever. Our deepest condolences go to Mias’s family and friends!
