BigKoro has officially parted ways with Dashing Buffalo, while Naul is also rumored to likely join Team Flash in the upcoming transfer period. This moment reminds us that the legendary Young Generation lineup from the 2017 season is soon becoming a thing of the past.
In the relatively dynamic transfer market, former Dashing Buffalo coach Ren, who was also a member of the YG lineup back in the day, shared some noteworthy information about the transfer market landscape and, more importantly, revealed secret details surrounding the “internal strife” incident at Dashing Buffalo, which was indeed YG back then.

Is the reason for Palette’s departure related to GAM’s unpaid salaries to players?
As is known, Palette’s departure from GAM Esports was a surprising move from both sides. The former DBL player had only joined GAM for one season but quickly said goodbye.
Ren stated that the reason Palette left DBL for GAM was that he believed it was a good environment for developing talent. However, life seems to be far from perfect. Palette did not have many breakthroughs in the last season, while GAM’s internal situation was also unstable, with occasional conflicts among players and salary debts.

The delay in GAM’s payments to players has been hinted at by Tinikun recently. Perhaps having too many stars in the roster, along with an inflated salary fund, has made salary debts unavoidable, even though GAM is considered one of the financially strongest teams in VCS.
Is there a possibility of a reunion between Palette and BigKoro?
“Crazy Dog” has officially joined Percent Esports, while Palette’s next destination remains a mystery. The most anticipated scenario for Vietnamese League of Legends fans right now is witnessing the DBL bot lane duo reunite under the Percent banner.
However, rumors lean towards Palette joining Team Flash, despite the fact that this team still has a very impressive CBL player.

According to Ren, Palette will definitely not return to Dashing Buffalo, while several other teams like EVOS Esports, CERBERUS Esports, and Team Secret… already have a bot lane duo that has played well together, while OverPower is a newly established team that has not yet stabilized its roster… so the chances of those teams recruiting Palette are quite low.
For this reason, Team Flash or Percent Esports might be the next destination for Palette after parting ways with GAM Esports.
The Conspiracy to Divide Dashing Buffalo Internally in the Past
Another noteworthy detail from Ren’s stream is the story of “internal division” among Dashing Buffalo players back in the day. In early September 2019, a fanpage named PVB Palette unexpectedly posted a lengthy article harshly criticizing Ren and asserting that this former coach was the source of discord within the team at that time.
This unclear status caused a stir in the League of Legends community, especially in the context of DBL actually facing instability after Zeros’ departure. In response, both Ren and Palette chose to remain silent, and the matter quickly subsided.

It wasn’t until now that Ren confirmed that the aforementioned post was indeed published on the fanpage owned by Palette. However, it was the work of another person who had stolen the management rights of the fanpage from Palette and wrote the status in question, aiming to create discord within Dashing Buffalo.
Ren also stated that the author of that provocative status is a notable figure in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene, and it seems that the consequences of the incident have caused Dashing Buffalo to truly collapse. Ren left the team at the end of the 2019 season after failing to help the “buffalo herd” successfully defend the VCS championship, while Palette quickly departed in search of a new home just before the 2020 season.
