After the success of Who’s That Person with the appearance of the duo Noway – Cara Phuong, the SBTC family witnesses Mina Young shining on another music-themed television game show – The Voice of Vietnam.
Participating in the show as a contestant, there are two teams of judges, including the team of comedian Tran Thanh (Team Tran Thanh: with members Erik, Tran Thanh, composer Nguyen Hong Thuan) and the team of comedian Truong Giang (Team Truong Giang: with members Hoa Minzy, Truong Giang, and supermodel Hoang Thuy).
The judges will listen to a short audio file of each contestant and then make predictions on whether that contestant sings well or poorly. While Team Hoa Minzy and Hoang Thuy believe Mina will not sing well, as she seems to resemble a TikTok hot girl, who often indulge in the popular pastime of lip-syncing.
Meanwhile, Tran Thanh confidently asserts that this girl will sing very well. Composer Nguyen Hong Thuan adds to Tran Thanh’s opinion by stating that Mina Young will sing very well with teen music genres.
And after Mina Young’s performance, Team Hoa Minzy, Truong Giang, and Hoang Thuy conceded “defeated with admiration,” as the female streamer used her real voice and completely convinced the judges.
Although not making as big of a splash as Noway, leaving an impression in a music-themed game show can be considered a notable achievement for Mina Young, as this female streamer still pursues a singing career, and this will be a good stepping stone for her to continue developing her music path.
