While the story of hot streamer Hà Tiều Phu suddenly joining the LCK organization Fredit BRION is still hot, the League of Legends community in Vietnam has another reason to “freak out”.

Just minutes ago, Gen.G Esports – the organization that owns 2 World Championship titles and is currently a top contender for the LCK Summer 2021 championship – announced the recruitment of another veteran name from the Vietnamese League of Legends community – hot streamer Duy Com.

"Welcome to Gen.G, our new content creator - Duy Com. We are looking forward to welcoming your new products under the Gen.G roof."

Duy Com, whose real name is Vũ Đức Duy, also known by the nickname LuckyMan, was previously known as a former professional League of Legends player for Hanoi Fate (later ASUS Fate). He was one of the standout stars of Northern Vietnam’s League of Legends scene during 2013 – 2014.

Although his professional gaming career had its ups and downs, when he transitioned to streaming, Duy Com achieved unexpected success and became a prominent figure in the content creator scene for League of Legends. Duy Com currently has a Facebook Fanpage with 140,000 followers and high engagement when streaming on Facebook Gaming.

His deep content creation about League of Legends and his diligent search for new content creation directions are likely the reasons that caught the attention of Gen.G Esports.

Since BOX Sports officially acquired the broadcasting rights for the LCK tournament in Vietnam, it seems a connection between Korean League of Legends organizations and the Vietnamese gaming community has been formed.

Not long ago, Gen.G Esports also opened this connection by announcing a talent recruitment program in Vietnam, aimed at finding young League of Legends stars to train and develop in the top professional environment of the LCK.

Next is the news about Hà Tiều Phu making a “trailblazer” move by joining Fredit BRION, and now it’s Duy Com’s turn. It is quite certain that, alongside Hà Tiều Phu and Duy Com, many other big names in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene will have the opportunity to collaborate with organizations in the LCK in the future. The prospect of Vietnamese fans gaining fresh perspectives on the tournament, environment, and players from this league will no longer be unfamiliar, as creative content products from organizations like BRO or GEN will be produced by Hà Tiều Phu, Duy Com, and others in the future.
