In the “telecom showdown” against T1, KT Rolster did not give their opponents any chance at all. This was not just a victory, but a devastating win with a score of 2-0 for KT. The T1 players were completely stumped and could only endure as the stars from KT had a much better day. Clearly, T1’s lackluster performance left their fans dissatisfied.

As for T1, there has been much discussion and frustration from fans regarding the players’ performance. Recently, a comment from a T1 fan was revisited by many, and several people realized that although the remarks were somewhat harsh, they were entirely reasonable. These observations emerged after T1’s defeat in the 2022 season.

According to the content of the comment: “After the defeat at MSI 2022 and the Summer Split that year, Gumayusi became the most consistent player of T1. Both Zeus and Oner need more time to develop. As for Oner, perhaps everyone should be sympathetic as he has carried the pressure of being T1’s best jungler for many years. Faker can no longer dominate opponents with his skills. But the issue with T1 is that instead of trusting their own abilities, they rely too much on the power of friendship. Normally, if Zeus or Oner lose, Keria should be the one to create the play; or when Faker is overwhelmed, Oner and Keria should support… T1 has forgotten how to use their own strength”.

The above remarks may be harsh, but they are entirely reasonable when considering T1’s defeat. When Faker is shut down, Zeus lacks the strength to create an impact, and both Oner and Keria lose their ability to create plays. What happened next was simply KT capitalizing on the advantages they held.
Losing to KT merely exposes T1’s issues, and it is not a disaster yet. However, Faker and his teammates need to bounce back immediately and address the team’s problems if they do not want to face another season without any titles.
