Facing a Fredit BRION team that was not highly rated, T1 had a great opportunity to improve their score, as both the team’s performance and morale were high. As expected, Faker and his teammates achieved a relatively easy victory against their opponents with a score of 2-0.
Although there were still some error-prone moments, such as Cuzz’s gank in the top lane at the beginning of game 1, T1 showed a stable face as they executed team fights around major objectives very well afterwards.
The general scenario of both matches was that BRO gained an advantage in the early game, but then failed to snowball against a tightly executed lineup from T1. The team that has won the World Championship three times still adheres to a late-game team fight strategy, achieving a relatively easy victory against a weaker opponent.
Faker and Teddy became the two main characters in T1’s victory. The “Chairman” continues to prove that “age is not an issue” with a double MVP performance. Meanwhile, Teddy also made his mark by reaching the milestone of 1500 kills in the LCK.

Although BRO is not a very strong opponent, this victory holds great significance for T1, as they took advantage of the match against a weak opponent to solidify their score before facing tougher challenges ahead with stronger opponents. Besides DWG KIA, names like Gen.G Esports, DragonX, and KT Rolster are all formidable opponents, but not unbeatable. If they can take advantage of the schedule and maintain stable performance, finishing the LCK Summer 2021 group stage in the top 3 is definitely an achievable goal for T1.
