Faker Shares the Current Status of T1
Typically, the LCK Awards ceremony draws significant attention from the League of Legends community, especially when T1 is a top contender for various honors. However, due to a recent plane accident in South Korea, the event honoring Faker and LCK players had to change format. Yet, it was no surprise that T1 completely dominated all major categories.

Additionally, Faker shared insights regarding upcoming tournaments and the current state of T1. Notably, in his comments about Doran, the T1 Mid Laner revealed an important piece of information: “Doran seems quite reserved. He truly is a gamer in every sense. We haven’t practiced together yet, but I hope we can coordinate well in the new season.”
Thus, it can be understood that after more than a month since his joining, if we exclude the time the players needed to rest, T1 has not yet officially had any practice sessions together. Meanwhile, according to the announced information, the LCK Cup will officially kick off on 01/10/2025, marking the first tournament of the coming year.

Faker’s Revelation Predicts a Tough Season for T1
Besides factors like players needing rest or participating in showmatches, another factor to consider is that T1 may still be encountering DDoS issues. Right after joining the team, Doran faced this problem, and it seems that DDoS could still be affecting T1 currently.

In the new season, the LCK and Riot will implement a Fearless Draft for the LCK Cup as a trial. Although the tournament will not significantly impact T1’s journey, the inability to practice smoothly could easily cause T1 players to miss their rhythm in time. A domino effect similar to the MSI – LCK Summer 2024 phase could very well repeat itself.
