With over 160 champions, the characters in League of Legends (LoL) possess incredibly unique abilities. Therefore, many LoL players have dreamed of acquiring the skills of one of these champions. Even the “Demon King” – Faker has such a dream.
Specifically, during a fan interaction event with LCK, Faker was asked which character’s skills he would like to have in LoL. The player immediately chose Zilean without hesitation. According to the “Demon King”, this choice aims to help him extend his longevity and maintain his performance for many more years.
“I currently really want to become Zilean because this character is not affected by time. If this really happens, I can maintain a high level of performance for many more years to lead T1 to success. I also want to extend my life to enjoy more of life after dedicating my youth to LoL,” Faker shared.
Faker’s answer left many fans feeling “wistful” when thinking about T1’s future. His desire to maintain performance for a longer time indicates that T1 does not have a reliable “successor” to Faker in the Mid Lane. Young player Poby recently had a chance to step in but failed to showcase much.
Furthermore, Faker’s desire to extend his life and enjoy more of life is also thought-provoking. He has been a professional player for over 10 years, and life seems to revolve solely around LoL. The “Demon King” has had quite a few “clueless” exchanges with “fangirls” simply because he lacks experience in communicating with women. Perhaps Faker also wants to improve this aspect, which is why he has such a desire.
Ahead of Faker and T1 is an important campaign named the 2023 World Championship. T1 has revealed several gameplay issues after failures in tournaments such as LCK and MSI. Hopefully, Faker will maintain a high level of performance as he desires to help T1 rectify weaknesses and perform better in the upcoming World Championship.
