On the day Faker reached another historic milestone, LazyFeel was also “appreciated” by the LCK community.
In the professional arena, securing multiple kills in a single match is often difficult as teams play very tightly. Especially in the LCK, where teams are willing to avoid fights to maximize farming time. If a fight does occur, it usually results in just a few scattered kills. Therefore, pentakills are even rarer, even for a seasoned player like Faker. However, recently, Faker achieved his second pentakill in his LCK career, and this time it was even more significant.

Specifically, in the match against DRX, a skirmish near the Baron pit led to Faker’s second pentakill after over 10 years of competition. This pentakill is even more meaningful for two reasons. First, May 7th was the birthday of the “G.O.A.T” of League of Legends. Secondly, this pentakill marked T1’s third consecutive victory and was the first pentakill in LCK history featuring a foreign player. Additionally, both of Faker’s HoL skins have achieved pentakills with their rightful owner.
The foreign player in question is none other than LazyFeel, and for VCS fans, it carries even more significance as he hails from the Vietnamese League of Legends scene. In reality, although DRX lost and LazyFeel was defeated by Faker, the opportunity to engage in a fight with T1, with Faker, and to be taken down in a pentakill is something that may not come around again in a player’s lifetime.

In fact, many LCK fans have expressed their appreciation for LazyFeel. One comment candidly stated: “Perhaps Faker and T1 are playing as if they are in the World Championship because their opponent has a foreign player. Thank you, Prince of VCS.”
Moreover, even when T1 was in “crisis”, DRX would have assuredly won against this team. Given that Faker and his teammates have now stabilized their lineup, they are gradually making a strong comeback.

The pentakill could propel Faker and T1 to a real breakthrough
Recently, T1 has been drowning in a crisis. Although they secured two victories in the fifth week of competition, they have yet to prove that they have truly returned as fans hoped.
However, with this pentakill, we can anticipate that the spirits of the T1 players will be raised even higher, making the upcoming LCK race even more exciting rather than just a two-horse race between Gen.G and HLE.
