In the LCK Spring 2023 tournament, T1 players performed exceptionally well, leading the team to numerous victories. In fact, the race for the “Most Valuable Player” title that season was practically an internal contest between Keria and Oner. Ultimately, Keria emerged victorious with 1300 points for “Most Valuable Player of the Match” (MVP) at the conclusion of the Group Stage.

However, the bright outlook mentioned above is unlikely to be repeated for T1 as the team is currently facing numerous disadvantages in the LCK Summer 2023. After their defeat to Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), T1 has now accumulated a total of 6 losses this season. Clearly, with such a high number of defeats, T1 is struggling to secure a top position in the Group Stage, let alone become the champion of the tournament.
Moreover, experiencing so many losses has severely impacted the personal title race for T1 players. Specifically, the player with the most MVP points on T1 is Zeus, with only 400 points. This number is even equal to that of HLE’s rookie Grizzly, despite the latter having only recently joined the competition.

With the current lack of high performance, T1 players also face the prospect of missing out on the season’s All-Star rosters. This is a rare occurrence as T1 has typically performed well in the Group Stage over recent seasons. Perhaps the absence of Faker is a significant loss that has led to many repercussions for this team.

Hopefully, in the near future, Faker will return and help the team navigate through this challenging period. They may not win the championship or lose the personal titles, but securing a spot in the 2023 World Championship remains a goal for T1 to strive for.
