On the evening of February 7th, the Vietnamese League of Legends community was abuzz with news from a female streamer accusing former SBTC Esports star Z. of borrowing money and then investing it in adult websites. Moreover, the amount Z. borrowed from this girl was around 500 million VND, and after further investigation, she revealed that Z.’s total debt was about 5 billion VND. Of course, this is a substantial sum, and in fact, the girl stated that Z. admitted he was unable to repay the debt.

Shortly after the scandal emerged, the key figures involved began to speak out. Most notably, the former SE star addressed his fans, apologizing and admitting he had let them down. Additionally, the owner of the post accusing former player Z. clarified that she did not lend the money directly to Z., but rather dealt with a close friend (named Y.) who is also Z.’s former teammate. Therefore, this incident is entirely true, and Y. will be the one who must take responsibility. Y. himself is also a former player and later posted to confirm that the information about the incident is accurate and that there was no intention to create drama for content.

However, scattered throughout various posts are still numerous opinions suggesting that this may just be an effort to “create content” for Z. After all, the name of the former SE player has been closely linked with various types of drama, and he has even used romantic relationships to attract attention. Not to mention, the amount disclosed in the scandal is so large that it is hard to believe anyone would actually lend such a huge sum to a stranger.

Additionally, an unexpected figure has also spoken out regarding the incident, namely streamer T.S. Many might remember that Z.’s case of borrowing money to “burn” on adult websites is quite similar to T.S.’s past. Particularly, in the past, Z. frequently “trolled” T.S. when the male streamer was involved in scandals. Seizing the opportunity, T.S. candidly stated: “I might have a way to help, but if it were you, would you want to help someone who used to stab you in the back like that?”.

Currently, the incident continues to attract significant attention from VCS audiences. As for those involved, there have been no further updates yet.
