Doran Also Shares an Issue of T1
During the LCK Cup 2026, T1 alongside Gen.G are the only two teams that have maintained an undefeated streak after the first two weeks of competition leading up to Super Week. However, rather than having clean victories like Gen.G, T1 has struggled to secure wins against opponents, even those considered weaker like DRX. Their only 2-0 victory was against KT, forcing T1 to play in the Play-in stage unless something drastic changes. Recently, Doran has shared his thoughts on T1’s situation in the new season.

According to Doran, T1’s coordination is not at its best: “I think the team’s coordination and some other aspects are not really high. One could even say it’s relatively low. However, overall progress seems to be going quite smoothly.”
T1 Has Many Areas That Need Improvement
Currently, T1’s gameplay revolves around a “single AD carry” style. This is a reasonable approach but makes T1 relatively predictable. In their losses to DRX and BFX, these teams made better choices for their AD carries right from the draft phase and often focused on Peyz during team fights. When Peyz cannot outperform the opposing AD carry, T1 easily gets “stuck.”

However, since T1 is still winning, this style of play may not need an immediate change or overhaul. Nevertheless, T1 should consider elevating this gameplay to its highest potential. After all, if they have a lead of over 12k gold and all the strongest buffs, teams like Gen.G or HLE certainly will not allow T1 the chance to turn the game around as they did before against KT.
