Professional League of Legends players, especially mid-laners, often have to master the skill of camera movement to accurately track how their teammates are performing in other lanes, ensuring they have an overview of the entire match to make quick decisions. Of course, they also need to keep an eye on their opponents to avoid getting comboed while focusing on the camera. Mid-laners who carry such crucial responsibilities in their teams, like Faker or Doinb, must possess the skill of camera movement at a minimum level of proficiency.

However, the mid-laner from FunPlus Phoenix could not hold back his complaints while watching his colleague Faker’s stream in the LCK: “Any professional player should know how to move the camera to quickly overview the entire match and the status of their teammates. But he (Faker) moves the camera too quickly; it’s really hard to accept from a viewer’s perspective. His camera speed is 5 times per second; even I, as a professional player, feel dizzy, so what about normal viewers?”

This is not the first time Faker’s map-checking camera speed has been “complained” about. Remember when the Pro View mode was newly released by Riot, Faker’s stream drew the most attention. However, many gamers admitted that after watching the Demon King’s stream for about 5 to 10 minutes, if he switched to serious mode, they had to either turn it off or switch to the streams of those ranking up with him to… give their eyes a break.
Indeed, the ability to check the map with camera movement is something very familiar to Faker, Doinb, and professional League of Legends players in general. But for even a “team-carrying” expert like Doinb to voice his complaints shows just how incredible Faker’s map scanning, analysis, and situational handling speed truly is.
