Currently, the group stage of the Summer 2022 tournament in most regions has entered the second round. This is considered a tense period, forcing teams to give their all to advance to the playoffs. It is also during this phase that audiences can somewhat predict the strongest teams competing for domestic titles and, alongside that, the spots for the World Championship (Worlds) 2022.

With a roster that has undergone significant changes during the offseason transfer period of 2021, and with the lineup maintained after the mid-season transfer of 2022, LNG Esports (LNG) was initially seen as one of the strong candidates for the LPL Summer 2022 championship title and a spot at Worlds 2022.

However, currently sitting in 8th place and losing to most direct competitors, LNG’s chances of contending for the title have nearly evaporated. Meanwhile, Doinb and his team’s spot at Worlds 2022 is no longer guaranteed.
Nevertheless, LNG’s Mid Laner – Doinb – expressed immense confidence in his post-match interview following their victory over Ultra Prime. He stated: “Today’s win is very beneficial for us. We had lost 3 matches in a row. It’s not that we couldn’t beat them. It’s just that our strength and level have issues. In fact, there are many problems in the team that we have yet to resolve. But before the match against UP, I knew we would win.”

Additionally, Doinb affirmed that the current patch is his specialty. With his usual confidence, he also claimed that he would lead LNG to the Worlds 2022, which will be held in San Francisco at the end of the year.

Of course, if the LNG players perform at their peak and remain focused, they will be formidable contenders as they boast talented and experienced players. However, recently, there have been rumors of internal discord within the team, and Doinb is said to be one of the causes. Therefore, it seems that Doinb and his teammates need to resolve their internal issues satisfactorily to have any hope of qualifying for the upcoming Worlds 2022.
