For this is likely to be Khan’s final season to conquer the most prestigious trophies in the world of League of Legends.
The year 2022 will be the time when Khan reaches the age for military service in South Korea. This player once shared that he intended to retire right after leaving FunPlus Phoenix at the end of 2020; however, a phone call from his former coach kkOma pulled him back to the professional scene.
Khan decided to join DWG KIA to replace Nuguri’s position. In the domestic arena, DK remains completely dominant over the rest of the LCK, easily winning the Spring Championship. However, with Chinese teams rising powerfully after their defeat at Worlds 2020, the journey to defend DWG KIA’s crown will be extremely difficult, as all four representatives from the LPL expected to participate in Worlds 2021 are forecasted to be strong candidates for the championship.
