The “major overhaul” in patch 10.14 completely changed the meta as powerful team compositions from the previous patch like Jinx – Brawler dropped in rank while Shadow and Sorcerer teams rose to prominence. After certain adjustments in hotfix patches, Shadow and Sorcerer still dominate Teamfight Tactics. In fact, in major tournaments, the Shadow team has the highest top 1 rate.

Of course, Riot Games cannot allow this “solo gaming” situation to continue, so in patch 10.15, key units of the Shadow tribe such as Jarvan IV, Jhin, and Xerath will all be nerfed. On the flip side, a number of neglected Gunner units will be buffed to create diversity in core choices. Details:

In terms of buffs, as mentioned above, the three Gunner units including Graves, Jinx, and Lucian will receive significant buffs. For Graves, the duration of his blinding effect on opponents will increase by 1 second at all levels, thus enhancing the unit’s versatility. Lucian will be buffed heavily with damage increased by 50 points at 1-2 star levels and doubled at 3 stars. Jinx will see a significant increase in attack speed from her ability; however, she still relies heavily on items and her team’s composition.

As for the remaining units, Darius, Master Yi, and Viktor are expected to receive light buffs as they are not too weak at the moment. For Urgot, he is currently quite “flimsy” after being heavily nerfed, so Riot Games may restore his old attack range (660 range) for this champion.
Moving on to the units that are being nerfed, it’s clear that Riot aims to target the Shadow and Sorcerer compositions. With the Sorcerer team, they are not directly nerfing this class; instead, they are reducing the strength of the two supporting units, Janna and Rakan, to limit the safety, control, and damage of this composition.

Meanwhile, Jarvan IV will be nerfed significantly in terms of attack speed buff for allies (reduced from 75/85/95% to 60/70/80%). Jhin has also been overbuffed, so his critical damage will be reduced in the next patch (from 350/500/4444% to 344/444/4444%), suggesting that Riot Games has recognized the mistake of buffing a unit that wasn’t too weak and turning it into a monster.

The final notable change in patch 10.15 is the removal of Neeko’s Universe and the introduction of a new Galaxy called Plunder Planet, alongside a revamp of the Armory. You can find details about the Plunder Planet Galaxy HERE.
